Has a surprising event happened in your life? Whether welcome or dreaded, our first reaction is usually, “What now?”
Breaking news of a surprising event often includes this phrase, “a person familiar with the situation.” Intriguing. Someone knows all the inside stuff, and probably is a person of influence. And that person may impact the outcome!
Did you know that accompanying your surprise is “a person familiar with the situation?” God himself. It is unimaginable that one who could create us and our world stoops to our everyday existence, chose to live as a human like us, and is all powerful and loves us at the same time.
In our surprise, a very wise thing is to first listen to Him and then act as He directs.
