Blaming circumstances

“Under the circumstance, what else could I do?”  Circumstances get blamed for everything that goes wrong.  Funny thing, when things go right,  we take credit ourselves rather than say, “I rode the wave of great circumstances!”

No spiritual leaders in Scripture blamed circumstances for their difficulties.  They persevered in spite of imprisonment, being lied about, or being beaten when innocent.  Paul in prison wrote, “what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel.” Philippians 1:12

Would he have written the prison epistles had he been traveling and teaching which was his hearts desire?  We’ll never know.  He never succumbed to circumstances.  He used them as his platform for action.

My friend.  You are not seeing circumstances to hid behind.  You are looking at your platform for action.
