Worry # 2

God’s solution to our worries is often not the first place we take our anxieties. We look around for more money for our financial worries, or more security for our unknown future.
God says come to Him first. Humans treasure the “I am the master of my fate.’ illusion. Stuff happens, life is messy. We were created to honor God and depend on Him. Consider financial worries.
What if his answer to our desire for more money is silence. We must wait. Not borrow. Meanwhile we can thank him we are not hungry, and likely comfortable in a living space.
Give thanks for what He has provided. Keep it simple. Health enough to work. Opportunity to go to a food bank in this temporary situation. Different solutions are likely to appear in God’s silence. And the blessing of growing faith.
