Work and being lazy

M One of our favorite verses is Proverbs 24: 27 that tells us to till our fields. In other works, work and provide for ourselves and our families. But what if a person won’t work? Proverbs calls that person a sluggard or lazy bones. Their favorite furniture is their bed. How can you tell whose lazy?
V Proverbs 26:14 ‘As a door turns on its hinges, so a sluggard turns on his bed.’ A door turning on its hinges goes no where. Work results in some progress. Varied for sure, but if their is no evidence of effort, maybe there’s no effort. Even in seasons of unemployment, one can still be productive.
M God created you to work. You won’t be a door swinging going nowhere.
