Words that wound

One version of Proverbs 13: 17 reads, ‘Irresponsible talk makes a real mess of things, but a reliable reporter is a healing presence.’ How often are we wounded by words, even a friends that were unthoughtful, irresponsible, and just plain painful. The evil one wants to break relationships and wound us. God has an alternative, a good one.’
Every wound becomes a weapon and gives us the opportunity to take those words to God. What can I learn from this? What is valid? What do I need to forgive and forget. Wounding words are often said by a wounded person. Pray for God’s healing. Result: God’s glory from that wound. Your weapon, the word of God shining a light on your heart, teaching you precious lessons.
