Women and finances alone

I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M Most women today are single, managing money alone. With divorce rates near half of marriages, and widows living at least 15 years alone, being competent is vital.
V As Christ followers, our guidelines are clear. Honor God, live within our means, spend and invest wisely. Being single again can mean temptations, to give to family to keep them close, to listen to a ‘good sell’ (What to do with that life insurance.) ‘You really deserve this great car.” Keep wise financial friends close, ask for their input.
M Never rush. “Asks” from family whether young or adult pull at our fragile heart strings. That investment option will be there months later after your research. It’s all God’s entrusted to you to be a good steward.
