I’m Miriam Neff with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money.
M We’ve been studying habits of financially successful women. No surprise, good and successful habits are biblical! Wise women take responsibility for knowing their finances.
V The biblical concept is that all that we own is really God’s on loan to manage. He gives us that to manage. We need to know what we have, plan with it, protect it, invest it, and be generous. The Proverbs 31 woman knew the conditions of all in her household, family and servants. She knew her sources of income. She worked diligently taking responsibility.
M Resist the urge to delegate and then ignore, or just assume others will oversee wisely. Responsibility is God’s compliment that He knows we can do well following His instructions.
