What percent do you give?

M What are the biblical foundational principles of giving? I Corinthians 16: 2 tells us to lay our gift aside as soon as income arrives. In other words, plan for it. Generosity isn’t a ‘left overs’ idea.
V Scripture also says its more blessed to give than receive. How much should we give? What percent of our income? We hear people discussing 10% of gross or net, base pay or all income. This misses the point. One family was able to give 90% of their income to Kingdom purposes.
M We don’t know what percent the poor widow gave when she placed 2 coins into the coffer. She simply gave what she had.
