M Wealthy women in Scripture show us God honoring generosity.

 

V Lydia was  a Christ follower and a wealthy trader in purple cloth.  She provided hospitality, meals and room for Paul and his traveling team.  The Proverbs 31 woman cared for the needs of her extended household.  Dorcas, a tailor, made cloaks for widows.  We don’t know her wealth, only that she was generous with widows, one of the most needy groups in her day.  Mourning her death, her friends sent for Peter who came and brought her back to life.

 

Peter presented her first to the widows she had blessed. What  a celebration!

M If I’d been there, I’d be dancing.  These wealthy women inspire us to see needs around us.  If we can, let’s help others.
