Tumultuous times in our country

These are tumultuous times. Our lives change: widowhood, moving, transitions. We need stability. Lets look at the leaders we vote for. Are they honest? Is their mission the good of the country? State? or City?
Are they humble, servant hearted, respecting all others, not just elites, wealthy or those of high stature?
Looking at realities, not just reading sound bites we make voting decisions. As a Christ follower, I’m reading the Old Testament. It’s filled with direction for God’s people. When they obeyed God, He blessed. When they disobeyed, He withheld blessings. People ultimately suffered. That’s truth for today.
