I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money.
M Here’s a blunt and important question to ask, given the realities of today’s pandemic. If you have been able to continue working and have income, thank God. Think stewardship.
V What budget items are no longer necessary, no longer possible, or just smaller than before? Working from home means saving transportation costs. Those won’t be permanent. Don’t delete them. But what did you save for the one or two month time? That 100 or $200.00 savings should first go against any credit card debt you are carrying from one month to the next.
M It’s easy to think. Escape and dine out! I’m free! But think about your long term plan. Think stewardship. God’s resources on loan.
