The great outdoors

Does the beauty of our great outdoors sometimes take your breath away?  The Chicago area can be ugly, but today is not that day.  Lots of rain has willows and walnut trees competing for the most beautiful green outlined against a sky with shades of blue unmatched by any huge array in a crayola box.  Iris, peonies, and climatus shout that no human could create such variety.  My morning reading was Psalm 104.  Read it my friend, and revel in the beauties of this earth.  Such beauty demands the question, “Did not someone greater that us create this?”  I think so.

Walking my neighborhood today my prayer is, may every person enjoying this contemplate You.  Through your handiwork, You are on display.
