The First Thanksgiving

M Are you wondering who to include in your Thanksgiving gathering? The first Thanksgiving was a unique collection of 50 pilgrims and over 100 Native American guests. The pilgrims wished to share their bounty with those who helped them achieve it.
V We’ve been thinking of who has helped us have the blessings we enjoyed this past year. What about inviting them? An employee, a trusted friend who prays? Tradition means we invite our relatives. Some may dread it, but show up, and others enjoy it greatly.
M Just a thought. Celebrations of all kinds appear in the Bible. Maybe this is a year to expand our group giving thanks together.
