Scripture is a ‘How To’ record of how to be a successful leader. One successful Christian broadcasting leader noted that his 6th principle for leadership was to ‘help each staff member feel that they are important to you and to the mission.’ I recorded his words. He quipped: ‘The golden rule.’ Matthew 7:12
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you. We thrive knowing that we are important to the effort, valued.
How’s that going? Businesses complete feedback forms. What company rates as the best work place. Christian organization do not conform to business models. Yet being valued is a biblical principle.
We want to know the goal and our part on the team. Whether small or even unseen, we matter. Its biblical and motivational.
