Suffering a little while

Troubles come to everyone. We suffer, we hope its short lived. I Peter 5: 10 tells us that after we’ve suffered ‘a little while, God shows up. How long is ‘a little while?’ We don’t know. One day feels like 1,000 days. Time stops as we don’t know the outcome of our pain filled days. We are told He is the God of all GRACE. He has riches enough to sustain us. He can even bring glory to Himself through our suffering.
Remember, Ruth was won to faith in God through Naomi in her harsh time of widowhood and loss. This reminder keeps us from being anxious, short tempered, snarly on days of our suffering. He’s good for the long haul.
