M Some people today are discovering themselves wealthy. Inheritances, stock options, the lottery, even divorce. Most of us don’t become suddenly wealthy, but some do.
V Financial advisors have noted that most people with sudden surplus money experience a strong emotional impact. They can make impulse decisions, buying luxuries they can’t maintain, or making risky investments offered by a smooth talker, are more common than careful research and thoughtful planning.
M Many are so influenced by their emotional roller coaster that most of that money is gone within two years. We know that God can bless people with wealth. We also know He can help any person become a wise steward. Remember, it’s His on loan. Pause and use it wisely.
