Still struggling to forgive?

Most of us struggle with forgiving others. Its natural, because we are humans. As Christ followers, we can, because faith has changes us.
Forgiveness is typically defined as the process of concluding resentment, indignation or anger as a result of a perceived or real offense, difference or mistake. It’s ceasing to demand punishment. Freedom grants free pardon and to give up all claim on account of an offense or debt’.
These few words are profound.
Forgiveness is a process. At its conclusion we’ve given up resentment, indignation, and anger.
Might those old feelings resurface? Yes, that’s why Scripture says forgive seventy seven times. Matthew 18: 22 That negative reminder does not rule you. We have been transformed. For that reason we can forgive as long as it takes.
