Spiritually depleted

How often do you check your bank or investment accounts and find an unwanted surprise? An opps overdrawn charge. A down day in the markets.
Some days our spiritual resources feel that way. We received discouraging news. Someone insulted us just where we were vulnerable. We acted with immaturity and hurt someone we care for. We had a plan, a seemingly good plan. Our plan, even our dream, dashed. Those days happen.
God is ever ready to pour into our depleted spirit all we need. Just ask. Matthew 7: 7 Ask and it will be given to you. He can deliver in both expected and unexpected ways. Verse 11 He delivers good things.
Depleted spiritual reserves need not last. God is ready to act on your behalf. Just ask.
