One legacy Christ followers want to leave is the spiritual legacy of a life lived honoring God. We often overlook the financial component of this.
V Scripture is packed with references to the reality that all we own is God’s. We need to steward it His way. Children watch their moms and dads and how they spend money. Adult children watch their aging parents. Are they making wise decisions regarding inheritance? Neighbors and friends watch too. Money can tear families and marriages apart. Sometimes siblings don’t speak over inheritance issues.
M This is unnecessary because God’s word gives us the tools to be wise with finances. An important part of our legacy.
