M  Social Security is commonly known as a safety net for ‘vintage’ folks, as well as those with disabilities and children of diseased parents.  Will it be there for future generations?  Answer unknown.

V What we do know is you benefit for considering options BEFORE you retire.  We DO know that the amount is not enough for a single person or couple to live on.  While you may start receiving benefits at age 62, generally it is better to wait until full retirement age.  Early benefits reduce that monthly amount for your lifetime. We recommend that couples research this while in their 50’s.

M Early wise decisions can impact what you receive for your lifetime.  Proverbs says plan wisely and trust God.
