Sleepless nights
July 7, 2017
A sleepless night is a long night. I’ve had several. My husband and I were in Romania, our ‘hotel room’ a room in a converted cow barn with screenless windows. Heat required us to keep them open, yet we just lay sweating hoping for sleep to come. Then another adventure began. We heard them. Misquitos. Light on, using towels as our swatters, we attempted to reduce their population in our room. Unsuccessfully.
We hovered under the covers and were thankful for day break. Looking at each other, we appeared to have severe cases of measles. The Misquitos had won the night.
Dear friend, whatever, whoever is causing your sleepless nights, will not have the last word. God heals and provides inner peace.
