Seeing His footsteps

Most of us wish for a clear smooth path for our life walk. Visible next steps with predictable outcomes. But then: Welcome to parenting. Welcome to work and career realities. Important relationships, and more.
My husband and I were often beyond our skill set parenting our four born to us and adopted children. Our work worlds shifted as well. Psalm 77:19 describes our reality. “Your way was through the sea, your path, through the mighty waters: yet your footprints were unseen.”
We knew our career calling, our life principles, yet surprises were abundant. Some choose not to put their foot in unknown waters. God did not part the Red Sea, until his people had put their foot in the water.
Courage, my friend. God’s destination is worth that courageous first step.
