Scripture is amazingly relevant to our country today. Reading Romans, written in A.D. 52 describing human behavior it describes precisely our behavior today, apart from Christ. 19 kinds of wickedness are identified. We tend so sort them by really bad like murder, and not so bad like gossip, and boasting.
God does not stack rank evil. He spells out what people deserve for any of the 19. Paul writes that they ‘applaud’ others doing evil as well.
Thankfully we are offered the solution. Jesus, full of grace and mercy, loving us before we knew him. Our embracing Jesus as our Savior. And he gives us a new heart. We live differently with 2 new commandments. Mark 12: 28—31. Love God first and love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
