Romans 8: 28

M I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money.
Romans 8: 28 is a paradox. ‘We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[ have been called according to his purpose.’ When bad stuff, hurt, even evil wraps their tentacles around us, we don’t see good.
V Many financially successful investors experienced really bad times. Benjamin Grahm, author of ‘The Intelligent Investor” a most highly acclaimed investment book, watched, as his mom sunk into poverty, after the death of his Dad. She moved from having a maid and high living, to their home becoming a boarding house and the humility of poverty.
M We don’t know their family’s spiritual convictions, but we do know Scripture. Grahm became hugely financially successful and hugely generous.
