Right-hand man
January 7, 2022
Are you discovering days here and there that drain your spirit? David describes his in Psalm 142. He felt alone, ‘Look and see, there is no one at my right hand; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.’
When you have those days, ask yourself this question, “Who is my right-hand man?” I have two that I can call and pour out my complaints. Besides wisdom, and perspective, just hearing their voice, I realize, I am not alone.
David was not alone. He sure felt that at the moment. Identify your right-hand person, a few or at least one. Lean on them, be transparent. Yes, we first cry out to our Lord. But godly humans here are precious.
