M Scripture has much to say about wealth and riches. I Timothy 6: 9 says that those who want to be rich fall into temptation, and more
V Let’s talk about wanting to be rich. That can drive behavior away from a balanced life style, being truthful, honest, and fair, and being generous. The business owner wanting to be rich, might pay workers less than fair wages. Scripture also warns about dishonest scales, which means cheating the customer.
M Note, to be rich is not the warning here. God commends being good stewards and multiplying what He has entrusted to us. Wanting to be rich for selfish purposes can bring temptation.
