I recently met with the overseers of our previous projects in Ghana training widows in a skill. Months of classes. Training. Practicing and then gradation. Decades later I asked them, how are our first graduates doing? Many have branched out from making school uniforms, to more complicated African clothing, dresses, men’s shirts and jackets. Some banded together to buy sergers and create home decorating projects. Skill training changed their lives and their orphaned children.
Of greater importance. They all heard the gospel. They heard this. These classes and your sewing machine are gifts to you because God looked out for one widow. God loves you. Jesus is presented. More importantly than them being self supporting will be the Heaven Reveal. Whose heart was changed? Who embrace the gospel? That’s really all that matters.
