Pulse and purpose

If you have a pulse, you have a purpose.  So many flounder and fret over what their purpose is, why they are here, in their town, in their circumstance.  I think this confusion is compounded by our cultures hype over purpose needing to be grand, attention getting, cool to others, or financially successful.

No wonder most of us don’t have a worthy purpose by those criterion.  We’re in good company.  The apostle Paul thought he’d be free to visit thousands fulfilling his evangelistic purpose.  Imprisoned instead he reached millions through his writing.  He never expected prison.  Rather than looking out the window for an elusive purpose, perhaps we’d do well to look about our room.  Act with what do we have right now. Use purposely what is in our hand today.
