M Where and when should we give? Needs around us are endless. We can’t give to all, and what we have to give may be small.
V Proverbs 3: 27, 28 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,[b]
when it is in your power to do it.
28 Do not say to your neighbor, “Go, and come again,
tomorrow I will give it”—when you have it with you.
Look around. What need do you see? Giving to an unknown organization might promote waste. What is near you? Can you address that?
M Don’t ignore the plight of those around you. Investigate and don’t wait. Act. That’s wise giving.
