Looking back to last year, what have we learned? Here’s one obvious lesson: challenges will come from places we least expected. Restaurant sectors thought their success would be on people loving their food and their skills to serve. Then covid closed most doors, repeatedly.
Schools thought classroom learning would continue. No. Months of on screen, remote learning, or at least we hope, learning.
I trust as Christ followers we have learned at a deeper level, that our dependence on God and his provision is more than desirable. It’s essential.
Trusting in a covid vaccine will not prevent other diseases in our lives, even pandemics. Entrusting schools with all our children’s learning? Not a plan. God gives children to parents, not schools.
Hopefully we are asking God to teach us HIS essential lessons.
