Praying for God’s will in our lives

How many times do we pray for God’s will in our lives?  We lay out options before him:  choices in business dealings, relationships to begin or end, purchases, health decisions. We have questions aplenty.

I Thessalonians 5: 16—22  lays out some clear answers.

Rejoice always

Pray and don’t stop

Give thanks in all circumstances

Directions for living are clear in that chapter. I read it and say, “Impossible, Lord, I cannot do this!”  Precious daughter, He answers, ‘I know that.’  Verse 24. “The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do this.

Knowing that its His strength and wisdom that will prevail, now I can:

Rejoice always

Pray and don’t stop

Give thanks in all circumstances. That’s living in God’s will every day.
