Post covid government

Post covid or almost, everyone is analyzing and predicting. When will things get back to normal? They won’t. Water does not flow back upstream for a ‘do over.’ Let’s ask ourselves an important question. Where have we been looking for answers? Our government for one.
They do stuff. We want vaccines. We don’t want more debt, but we’re getting that. We want income when we’re not working. We want stability and safety. We want predictability for tomorrow. People in biblical times were no different. They wanted a human king to solve their problems. Or the Romans to provide at least some protections.
Our challenge is to keep our eyes on Jesus only. He is our provision and our provider. He promises that Heaven will be perfect. That is enough.
