Plan for the unexpected
October 25, 2018
I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M We stress determining your budget, not letting money scatter and then wonder where it went. Having a cushion, at least 6 months of living costs is vital. Income can be sporadic. And then there are surprises
V A known change is that children will grow. New shoes are required. Cars wear out, repairs required. And then add the unexpected. Like a root canal. There’s great comfort and security knowing you got most things covered if not all. Time payment plans are offered, and cost more. Deciding to live on less than your income and build those reserves? Comforting and God honoring.
M Small beginning steps are better than not starting at all.
