M Proverbs repeatedly advises us to chose wise counselors and get abundant advice. We greatly admire Larry Burkett who went to Heaven in 2003. He left a treasure trove of financial advice and wisdom based on Scripture.
V He entered the Air Force after high school, eventually working at Cape Canaveral and earning degrees in marketing and finance. Upon becoming a Christian he left the field of electronics and devoted himself to Christian financial counseling. We recommend all of his books, The Word on Finances, by Moody Press is one of our favorites.
