Peitho Friends

Have you ever discovered that a person you thought was your friend, was using you? Peitho friends are in your world to influence you, persuade you, or benefit in some way for the relationship.
Problem is, its hard to tell the difference between that friend who loves you for yourself, that buddy who just has things in common with you, and the user. That is, until hard times come. Then the user disappears, the buddy drifts away, and only that one who loves you no matter what, is still by your side.
How do you find that kind of friend? By being one. Even that does not guarantee the love will flow both ways. Read the life of Jesus. He stood by his disciples even when they let him down. He is the perfect example.
