Paying taxes with gratitude
April 13, 2021
I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M We’ve know from Jesus’ instruction that we should pay taxes. Matthew 22: 21. We may not be celebrating and loving all that our government does with those taxes. Yet, we pay taxes in obedience.
V We can be grateful for one thing. We can still give directly to Kingdom purposes and not pay taxes on those funds or equities given. This is a blessing that is not promised for the future. Philanthropic organizations are more efficient in accomplishing good with those dollars than our government.
M Its too late to change the news for our 2020 filing. But we can start now for 2021. Ministries need resources all year. So why not give to your favorite ministry today.
