Passing on financial wisdom

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M  Scripture talk of wealth and passing in on from one generation to another.  Examples of wealth squandered and wealth grown vary.  The prodigal son wasted his wealth. Luke 15. King Solomon grew his wealth.

V Ron Blue in “Splitting Heirs” states wisely the importance of passing on wisdom to our children.  Making that a priority means wealth they receive will more likely be used wisely, not squandered or wasted.  He proposes these questions.  What is the best thing or the worst thing that could happen if I transfer wealth to ___?  How serious is it?  How likely is it to occur?

M Part of being a good steward is discerning the impact of gifts and inheritances to children.
