What do we learn from Palm Sunday?  John 12.  Jesus was going from Bethany to enter Jerusalem prior to the Passover.  Crowds gathered waving palm branches and shouting “Hosanna!^[d^]”

“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”Blessed is the king of Israel!”

Palm branches were used by God’s people to rejoice before the Lord.  Leviticus 23: 40 and to make temporary shelters.

¹⁴ Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it,   It was predicted.  Jesus was fulfilling what the Word of God said about him.

 

That very act divided the people.  The Jewish leaders were beyond perturbed.  True today.  Jesus before us divides those who  honor him and those who reject him.

 

Revelation 7: 9  We Christ followers will wave palm branches before Jesus again.  Heaven, no longer a symbol.  Our reality
