Never let a crisis go to waste. Benefit: You must change direction. You must revise your life plan, your year, week, daily, even hourly plan. What an opportunity to honor God! I admit after my husband’s untimely death, I was not looking at all the necessary changes as an opportunity to honor God.
Yet, now I do. God’s provision before the crisis will be entirely different in your tomorrow. But God will not change, be different, less capable, or silent during and after your crisis. First question: how can I honor God, given the reality of my life and my world today? Instead of being self absorbed in the crisis, we focus on God, who He is and what He can do.
