Money spent on cotton candy

I’m Miriam  Neff with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, Lets talk about money.

M Back in the day of county fairs, cotton candy was a big treat.  Sugar went in a machine. out spun this pink airy blanket of sweetness that melted delightfully on your tongue.  And then it was gone.

V Never had it Mom, but I believe you.  That  illustrates some of what we do with our money.  Closets with stuff unused.  Pantrys with what we thought we might eat.  Or a start up stock that looked bright and flashy, too good not to buy in before the rest of the investors discovered it.  Or it had a track record for earnings.

M  ‘Prepare’ is used 66 times in Scripture. Effort, time, and thoughtfulness. Pray first.  Our spending plan,  generosity and investment plan.  No cotton candy outcome.
