Are you wondering how to celebrate Memorial day ahead? Consider thanking a present day person in the military. Yes, I have family members and friends serving. Their challenges are many. Only specified times to be with family. Stretching budgets to just get by. Few can afford some things we consider worthy, like a fairly new car, or owning their own residence, even as a future investment.
Thank them. Think of some way you can bless them. A gift card for a big box store, even a common fast food chain or better restaurant in their area. (with a long window of time to use)
Whether a thank you or a gift, what they will treasure is that they remembered.
Any person I see in a store wearing a veteran cap or jacket, I say ‘Thank you.’ A day of gratitude.
