M March has been marked by good and bad days. In March 2009 the Dow Jones Industrial average closed down by more than half from its record high 18 months earlier. Fact: markets fluctuate.
V That does not mean don’t invest. For those who moved out at that time and have remained on the sidelines, their portfolios have suffered stagnation. And the markets have more than recovered, nicely. Lesson learned: pay attention to what you own, diversify, and don’t panic.
M Remember Scripture commends being a prudent investor. the parable of the bags of gold, Matthew 25. Hiding gold so it did not increase was condemned.
