Like It

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

M A good spending plan motto is KNOW IT, OWN IT, LIKE IT, CHANGE IT.

Record and know, own and take responsibility.  Then ask this important question: ‘Do I like this?’  Am I being generous?  Does this represent my values?  Am I over housed or over clothed?  Am I under spending/investing in more education, travels, savings, or generosity?

V When we think of liking it, we consider what is important to us.  Even more important, what is important to God?  Scripture gives examples of hoarding for selfish reasons.  Not good.  The man building more barns was hoarding for himself. Luke 12. How much grain, and how many barns did he need for himself?  What God values matters.
