I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M When we think of legacy, we often think of wealthy or influential people who are remembered in good ways. Donating libraries and college buildings. Let’s acknowledge that each of us leaves a legacy. We’re creating ours today. Others are watching our behavior. Legacy is both being and doing.
V We can leave a legacy of a good work ethic, ethical behavior, being a person that extends grace and mercy. A legacy of listening, valuing others. Likely few will recognize this, but our children will. Even neighbors and coworkers. We call this the ‘being’ legacy. The ‘doing’ as in gifting is important. But being can leave a priceless legacy.
