Learn from your investment mistakes

I’m Miriam  Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money

We encourage managing and overseeing your own investments even if you employ others.  Yes, you will make mistakes.  I look at stock I wish I purchased, and stocks I should have shunned.  Some abandon investing.  I’ve decided to learn and improve.

V  Look at losses as an educational experience.  Painful for sure. But over time, you learn what you value and what companies deliver that.  Some investors prefer slow growth stocks with steady dividends.  Others can tolerate a bit more risk.  Online resources show you a companies growth pattern, dividends, and more.

M Most learning curves are not straight up.  Research, investigate and keep monitoring.  It’s actually learning that’s fun.
