Leadership 5 & 6

Successful leadership is vital whether in a Christian organization, church, or business. It’s vital that a leader provide settings in which there’s freedom for people to feel free to express themselves openly without fear or retribution. In other words, that leader might hear things he wished weren’t happening but are. When people are free to express themselves without fear of intimidation potential problems can be addressed early.
A vital product is accountability. We’ve seen charitable organizations, even churches implode, often doing much damage in the delay before the facts are known.
Whether financial mismanagement, tasks not being accomplished, even disrespect and bullying, these scar an organization, secular or Christian.
The golden rule applies. Matthew 7: 12 ‘So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you. We thrive knowing we are important and our voice is heard.
