M Having a spending plan is biblical. Why? Because we’re stewards. Matthew 25. We don’t really own what we have and are earning. Its all God’s. This motivates us to know where its going.
V That one third of people who do not have a spending plan will have many surprises. Many of those surprises will negatively impact their financial reality. Wisdom means we have a 3—6 month savings to cover those unexpected adventures: car and house hold repairs, illness, times without a job.
M Start by keeping a record of all that’s coming in and all that’s going out. Pencil and paper or spread sheet. What ever works for you. Then you will KNOW IT.
