Kenya’s widows

The plight of widows in Kenya is desperate.  She cannot even stand and talk to a man.  It is assumed that she will try to take him. She is usually thrown off their land, though Kenya law now states that it is hers if widowed.  Yet family states that she has to go.  She’s defenseless and has no funds to pursue legal justice.  Should the church attempt to defend her (they usually don’t) the tribe says, ‘stay out!’  Its a family matter.

Widow connection trains widows in a skill and gives her a machine at graduation.  Guarantee of successful future?  No.  But its possible.  Most sleep with their machines for its safety.  And no one can steal their skill.  God takes note.  He cares, and so do we.
