If it matters.

If it matters to God it should matter to us. Scripture shows us that He cares deeply about children, especially orphans. And he cares deeply about widows. I’m thrilled when individuals adopt children. We did. I’m thrilled when folks support Widow Connection as we come along side and help widows in their time of need. When we represent our faith by caring for those he cares for, he smiles.
What is more difficult for me to comprehend is that if something matters to us, it matters to God! How can it be that the God of the universe who sees and knows all, who weeps over great sins, disease, and disasters, cares about my smallest need and concern? I don’t get it, but I know it.
My friend, cast your cares on Him. He’s strong enough for the big ones, and so tenderhearted that the small ones matter too.
