Grocery advice
December 20, 2017
I’m Miriam Neff-with STARTING OVER FINANCIALLY,-and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, and we’re here to talk about money
M We’re including grocery advice in our Christmas suggestions. Why? Because its easy to impulse buy. After all, its Christmas.
V Plan out meals and snack reasonably. It’s OK to splurge a little at the holidays, but plan and budget accordingly. When I say splurge, that means, you may buy more and fancier than most months, but don’t go crazy and buy more that your family can reasonably consume. Or an amount that drives you into debt. Holiday food might be expensive, but it is REALLY expensive when you pay 18% INTEREST on it.
M Planning carefully means more to give and less waste.
